Again,
The rage burns through each individual vein
It replaces the blood, by which my broken body needs to sustain
Again,
I try to damper the rage with no real avail
I am controlled by a furious beast, while I stand trapped, burning through my personal hell
The fury continues to burn away, all that is me.
It destroys all paths, in which to get free.
It leaves me here broken and drained
The beast will never cease my soul is forever stained
I'm plagued by the blood of those lives I've taken
My soul is denied, I've joined the deadly forsaken

I'm reminded of something the Bible said about hate while reading this poem. It was something like, "Hating your brother in your heart means you've already murdered him in your heart" or something like that. Not preaching, but that's what this poem reminded me of.
That and the novelization of Star Wars Episode 3...Anakin had what he called "a dragon" in him. Oop,s now I'm getting nerdy. Anyway, this is awesome!
